Man what a night!!!! Glenn and I took another bowfishing trip with a couple of buddies and absolutley dropped the hammer on some BIG fish!!!! We missed our only Grass Carp of the night, but we were drilling some 15 to 20 pound Buffalo non-stop! Even finished off the night by landing a 36 pound Flat Head off our jug line!

Tammy has become hooked on fishing so she asked me if we could take the kids fishing tonight and I told her we could definetly do that she is really starting to take a interest in the outdoors. Last year was her first year gun hunting and I think she did that just for me but she is hooked on it now. She gets excited when i bring in the memory cards from the trail cams. Its great for me because now she knows the passion I have for the outdoors and its just something else we can share together. ...

Tell ya what, the people at the Bass Pro Visa credit card center have been loving me the past couple of weeks! I'm doing my part to stimulate the economy! LOL I bought a new 14' Tracker Jon Boat since I grabbed ahold of my fishing roots again. I had been using my nephews old John boat...but I was bailing water more than I was throwing a lure so I went and got a new one. If you have a Bass Pro near you and need a good Jon Boat, they are running some great prices on them. Picked this one ...

Didn't take pics of all that we shot, just of the first few. We shot somewhere around 40-50 fish and had a blast. Just some good ole off season FUN.

I decided to do some research on it and am very interested in useing it to help the pheasant and quail populations around here. I am planning on adding it to my buisness for next season to offer more wildlife services. I was wondering if any of you have heard about this or have used one, just out of curiousity.
I'll tell ya what...I almost forgot how relaxing a good day on the river can be! So I've hit the water the past 3 weekends! LOL One thing about Missouri, it has some of the most beautiful water ways of any state I've ever been in. I might get a little jealous over the size of deer in other states, but I wouldn't trade a day on the river for anywhere else but right here!

After a long day at work I thought I would wind down by spending a few hours fishing. Been getting whooped by the cats the last week so I wasn't expecting much. After about an hour of nothing I reeled one of my poles in and began throwing some bass lures. Had a little more luck at that but still nothing big. Right as I was about to call it a night, the pole that still had catfish bait on it exploded. I grabbed it and "put the lock jaw" on him. That ends the drought for me. It never ...

Zach and myself along with my 7 year old son had a great long day on the river. We didn't boat any big fish but we caught 8 stripers and 8 channels and they were a ton of fun. We were on the river for well over 9 hours and enjoyed every second of it. I'll post up some pictures and some more story tomorrow but for now I can also tell you we shot over 60 minutes of great footage

Went out with Moose and another buddy yesterday evening after some walleye. Being my first time going after them I was pretty excited. I had my line in the water maybe 15 seconds and had a cat on the end of my line. Nothing to it eh? Wrong, that was the only fish I caught that day. Moose landed 3 'eyes, with two of them being keepers. My other buddy caught 3 'eyes and 2 cats. Was a good time being out on the water with some good buddies. It will def. not be my last time going after those critters.

This Friday my son and I will be fishing the Ohio River for some nice big Cat's. This will be his first trip river fishing and it's an overnight with a camp out planned so he is overly excited to say the least. I will be filming the trip for us and for some stuff I have going on the side. I'll be sure to post up some pictures and maybe even a little video clip when we get back. We are searching for Blue's and Flats but a few nice channels will be put in the boat for the freezer.

Me and the wife headed out fishin yesterday. I let her try to catch bluegill because she is very impatient and usually those little ones will keep her busy. I set up for some cats. Sure enough, not 2 min. after casting one of my poles in I was getting hits. I must have had some smalls ones messing with me cause they wouldn't take it and run like I want them to. Finally one took off. Then while I was rebaiting my hook another took off. They were biting like crazy. We had 3 poles set up and all ...

You've probably seen this lake on the Bass Masters. This is the lake that they fish the big swim baits and hammer huge bass. Me and my buddy were using drop shot and caught around 30 or so in a morning, the biggest being about 5lbs. There are bass in this lake pushing 20lbs and are caught yearly. Hope to get up there and track one of those down.

My boss and I took the day off Monday and went down lake for some wallye fishing. It was tough because the depth finder went out on us and it was really hard to mark our spots and get at the depth and spots that we wanted. I did however manage to land this big dogg while trolling a crankbait! It was 24 inches and weighed just under 5 pounds

Yesterday evening I decided to head to my families pond and try my luck at some bass. When I arrived I talked to my family and they were saying that the fish were still on the bottom and not feeding much. Was told I probably wouldn't catch anything. They were being way too modest. Literally my 3rd cast with a crank bait a really nice young bass hammered it. My family was right though...they definitely were staying on the bottom but they were more than willing to bite. I even caught a cat fish ...
