Well I went over to my buddy Kurts house to help him check his traps and I have been out with him 2 times now and both times he has caught bobcats in his traps with me. This is not what he is trying to catch he is trying for fox, coyotes. We have to release these in New York they are still proteceted here. He has a thing like you use for dogs. It is a little scary releasing them they are not nice at all and would rather tear into you.

Ok, heres a few pics from my North Dakota trip.

Here's the badger I shot, I was excited because its the first one for me. Couldn't believe how muscular this sucker was. And Icouldn't believe how bad it smelled.

Here's a prarie dog Ishot at just over 400 yards, my longest shot of the trip. The wind was blowing and I had to hold about 2 feet left and 1 1/2 feet high. Just took the pic to show how the v-max still expanded at 1/4 of a mile.

Here are a few wild hogs that my buddies dad caught on their farm in TX. These are around 100lbs, the biggest they caught weighed over 300. These things completely destroy wheat fields and everything else they eat. They catch them in big live traps. Then keep them in small pens and put some weight on them. After that it's breakfast served.

Had a guy send these to me last year (You know him Rags) and he swears up and down it's a panther. These were taken in Paragould, AR. I think it's a big house cat, then again I dont have anything to compare it to. It could possibly be a juvenile cat but wanted to get yall's opinions. Let me know what you think. The first pic was from a trail cam (you can see the feeder in the background for reference) and the second one, well I don't know how he got that pic (assuming he didn't have his deer ...

First Bow Yote 06

In 2006 I finally got my first yote with the bow. I actually missed the little bugger at 12 yards when all I could see was it's head sticking out of a brush pile. Just about the time the bow went off he stuck his head back in the brush pile, and my arrow exploded into the tree behind the pile. The yote didn't really know what happened, but he ran out of the pile to the field edge where I managed to take him at 34 yards. I had him on trail cam about 2 days before I shot him too.
