Tonight I got my T/C Omega Z5 ready for Saturdays firearm opener. I shot my first ever slug gun deer (an 8 pointer) at the beginning of the month (special military firearms tag) and now I hope to bag my first ever deer with my Muzzleloader. It will be an exciting hunt as I will be carrying it in the woods with me for the first time ever. I got it all sighted in and I am fairly confident. Looking forward to hopefully squezing the trigger on a big one as I look through the Nikon Omega scope. ...

I finally went out and got me a shotgun to call my own. For the past two years I have always borrowed someone's 12 gauge to use during dove season. Well...that was really getting old. Brian and I set out to find me a shot gun and came home with a Remington 11-87. I love it! Second shot, bird on the ground. We are hitting the fields again tomorrow!

Just wondering what you guys who shoot muzzleloaders prefer... powder that you measure out or 2-3 pellets that you just drop in? I myself just started shooting muzzys and I like the pellets.

The bow is my weapon of choice, but the wife hooked me up with an all black synthetic stock Mossberg 500 pump shotgun with the rifled barrel for Christmas last year. I outfitted it with black see-through Luepold scope mounts and an all black Nikon SlugHunter BDC rectile scope. Robert told me the best slugs to shoot through it are Hornady SST's. Looking forward to shooting it. What do you guys have?

I have finally commited and am going to try a new muzzel loader. I had my eye and heart set on buying a new TC Endevor. The problem is I have been hearing nothing but good stuff about the Savage smokless powder muzzel loader as well. Has any one else had experiance witht he Savage? I am currently shooting a Knight Disk exteem and love it. I am just hooked on muzzel loading when it comes to gun hunting and want to add another fine weapon to the safe. Comments or suggestions welcome.

Well I patterned my new TK2000! Wow, talk about a heavy hitter. It will really put more lead in the head if you know what I mean. I am pumped to use it.

I have been muzzel loading deer for some time now and must add how much better of a hunter it has made me. I am much more patcent. I wait for the right shot and only the right shot knowing I only have one. Since then my trophys have ment more as well.

I am now ready to shot gun them... I know, use a bow.. I have done that to.. ...

One of the most reliable and user friendly guns on the market in my opinion! Not to mention the crimson trace on those are bad@$$!
