The Honey Hole I added mid August is really starting to get hit now. I am seeing very good deer sign of them traveling around and through the plot. I searched the entire 53 acres and my plot has the best sign by far of the entire property. The best part is since they are using it like never before, I have like 6 serious scrapes (2 in the plot) and a rub in the plot 3 yards from my ground blind. So in my opinion the benefits of a good food plot go way beyond ... I am hopefully going to get it in the ground on August 10th. We already have a few acres of corn coming in nice and will add an acre of F/W/S mix and 3 acres of Honey Hole. I ordered some Trophy Clover, Honey Hole, Some soil sample kits, some jolt fertilizer, and then I got a T shirt to show off the logo . I asked him about the difference of the Plot Max spray and the Jolt spray and he had some good information about it. He said the Plot Max is to be sprayed onto the soil before planting to add fertilizer and the Jolt is to be sprayed ... As important as food plots have become not everyone has the ability (equipment) or place (land) to create these habitat enhancers. Maybe some only hunt consistently on public land. Well the Jolt Foliar Fertilizer can still help you in a big way. When creating food plots, we must be careful not to place them where natural forage lives. What I mean is do not till under a food source that is natural to your area because the deer rely on it and you ...
