Saw some today

While shooting today I looked out across the road towards the woods and saw a young fawn checking out what I was doing. It looked to be mighty healthy for being so young. A lot of the deer I have seen this early in the year have been really skinny but this youngster had some meat to it. Also when I was driving the back roads to head back home saw 4 out in the middle of the field. it was right after a short shower and they seemed to be out feeding. Thought that was a little weird....feeding at around six o'clock and in the mid to upper 80's. One had some decent growth to him. Sure made me miss living back home....don't see many deer in the cement jungle.

Good deal Joe... I usually see deer every morning on my drive into work.

I've been seeing tons of deer around home! My mom saw a buck with a pretty nice set of velvets growing.

been seein' deer crossing the road above my garden. guess my dogs are kepping the out of there.. deer are smart i guess when it comes to knowing how far a dog can come. i have underground fence with transmitters so the dogs won't go out of the yard.. just 50 yds above the fence line is where the deer cross. saw several does but missed the big buck that left his tracks..big as your hand/
