| I would second the mineral site idea, especially this time of year. I have 6 sites going about 2 hours north east of you up route 28 bull, and the deer are hammering them. I just bought 4 more bags of Deer Cane at Wal Mart today and are going to get a few more sites going.
For less that 10 bucks, you can get the mineral lick out there. It's much less expensive than the Come'er Deer, and you don't have to worry about running to the woods all the time to replace it...

| The mineral site is better for the money. Cmere deer is not on the top of my list. I have tried it compared to the mineral site and have had much more action on the cameras with the mineral licks. | |

| Bull, Just set up a few sites early with different feeding options for your prey. Find out from your pics which one had the most activity, then you can adjust for your prey's desires. I still use good old molasses corn by the bag-load. These city ghetto deer love it... See you sunday pal. Injin | |

| you guys might be laughing at the indians comments but the area inside the city that he hunts produces some huge deer....hard to hunt when you are hearing people talk...drug deals goin down and shootings...lol...but does produce some monsters | |

| I have had great success with c'mere deer. When I mix it with corn I got way more pics from it than from the corn that didn't have c'mere deer. But it is expenseive! | |

| I didnt set my cameras yet. Im going to wait until the end of the month. Just from my dog walking/night time drive thru's, I should be able to get some photos of a couple city 130's as well as a possible 140+. He's a solid 3 1/2 y/o with a great looking rack. Tons of junk around his forehead.
I will post some pics as soon as I get them in. Hopefully they wont have paintball markings on them(from city juvenile thugs) like in the previous years...

| Do either of you know any good spots in 2B to hunt? I got my license today and noticed that archery doe season opens two weeks early in 2B for doe. I wouldn't mind coming down and plunking a doe or two if someone needed one taken off their property... | |

| The best spot in 2B is in Bethel Park. Its got plenty of woods, and even more deer. Heck, some of the homeowners would welcome you with open arms, just to spare there thusands of dollars in landscaping. | |

| I have never heard of using cmere deer like a mineral lick, but I have used it as a topping on corn and other feed for the deer in feeders. Deer will walk by one corn pile to eat the other with the cmere deer on it. Used with other deer feed I tyhought it was amazing. | |

| I used the powder kind and it was not anything like in the commercial. Never used the spray kind though. But I wouldn't waste your $$ on the powder, you get a little jug and it cost an arm and a leg. Not for me!! | |

| Another great spot in 2B, probably the best spot, is near the Allegheny County Airport property. Its called PNC Park, aka the circle field. The deer feed here like its a food plot buffet, every night there is 130-180 class deer feeding in this field.
Just beware of the "Smokies" that patrol it...
