Great trail

I found a really good trail out in the woods scouting today i set the camera up on it. i have never been to this part of the property but something tells me there will be a stand there. Hopefully I will have pics from there in a few days. It is a beat down trail coming out of the thick stuff.

Im hoping to get some good pics in this spot. There are alot of bear around my area would love to get a pic of one of them.

That would be cool to get a bear on the cam

That's why these trail cams are a huge tool.

No kidding it lets me know if there are any bucks worth hunting that area or if its just doe running it. Then I know it is a stand for the rut. I have ruled out one of my stands for early season all I got there where doe pics and one small buck. I hope this spot shows some better bucks or it will be back to my old hunting ground. Hunting my buddies place again this year and we have been doing some pretty good management there. Only shooting mature bucks there and it has helped alot. We saw alot of good bucks there last year that will shooters this year. But we are going to do some doe management this year we need to take some out.

Good find. The pictures will definately shed some light on to what is using the trail and when...

Mr. Volway found a good trail like that on his last visit to the KY property. We put a camera out Sunday. We saw signs of turkey, coyote and deer. Can't wait to see the pictures! In the course of 9 days he got over 1700 wildlife pictures with another camera at a different location on the same property, so I'm really anixous to see these! (By the way, he culled those 1700 down to about 250 pix - had the camera set on 2 pix shots, thats way to many ... live and learn!)

guys i just put the cam out the other day I want to try and wait atleast a full day before I go running back in to get it lol. i want to go chec it but dont want to mess this spot up

well i had to run out and pull my camera th other day do to the really bad thunderstorms that where coming. I had around 15 pics all of does again but it was only a few days going to put some new batterys in it and set it back out hopefully we will get some bucks. had alot of good looking doe on it.

Here is a pic of one of the doe that is just calling for the rage. I posted the pic so you can see the trail she is walking up it comes out of the thick stuff into the oak trees there are 3 trails that come together right there.

Looking good, makes me want to go check my cams now

Sounds like a great spot for a stand...

I hope it pays off for me all the pics I got from the spot are in the daylight also so that was cool. The storms are over now and I put the cam buck up there yesterday so hopefully we will get some bucks on the cam this time.

Well i set the camera in a bad spot on the new trail I gues I learned something there. Just a bunch more doe but I guess they will eat good.

Doe aren't necessarily a bad thing. Once November rolls around, the bucks go where the doe are...

Oh ya that is right Its just like the old saying when rut starts hunt where the girls are and you will find the bucks. Just getting a little frustrated not getting pics of bucks. I know they are there. I have about 3 more trail cams coming in the mail I will have 5 out then So I will be able to cover the property pretty good. I will find where the bucks are hanging out.
