I got a chance to meet and talk with Jay this past weekend and they trip was a do it yourself one and both he and his buddy shot nice bears. Jay was knowledgable and obviously a good hunter. Congrats on a great trophy

Thats what I'm talking about! I'm really jealous right now, congrats on the great bear!
ky has a bear season this year.there is a 10 bear harvest quota .. have to call in the night of the first hunt at 9;00pm to see if all 10 has to be taken yet.. think this idea is stupid,because there may like 1 bear having 10 and maybe 3 or 4 might get one the next morning..who would get charged with the overkill tag.. hunt is 2 days

Congrats on a beautiful bear in some gnarly country. I have always wanted to go on a DIY for elk or bear. And I see you shot it with you TC Pro Hunter, great all around gun. Thanks for sharing those pics.
