This might be a dumb topic but im just wondering, I know theres some guys from Arkansas on here. Is it (Are-Kansas) or (are-can-saw)?

Thats the way I pronounce it but my history teacher said its Are-Kansas, we all thought he was smoking pot, lol.

ya'll are silly... it is definately Arkansaw. thats what it is and thats how it is. i love this site. everybody is great. thanks for the oppotunity to learn all kinds of stuff. and trust me this was no dumb question, not compared to some of the stuff i have asked.
