| Brian asked me tp pick the spot and I chose the area where I went the very first time I hunted. I was on the way to my tree, but ended up stopping short and went up a tree I have never been in. Well, it turned out to be a good thing. I didn't even have time to range a couple of trees and had just gotten settled in when a doe comes walking down the road. I quickly judged the yardage, waited for her to take a step and fired. Sounded good. About 30 minutes later I look to my left and here comes a group of three. Two does and a small buck. A doe come in about 15 yards and I let her have it. My goal this year was to get over my personal best, which was 1 during bow season....I have tagged out on does. Good thing is, I can buy a bonus tag good for 6 more!  | |
