PostSubject: COLD FEET!   COLD FEET! EmptySun Dec 06, 2009 12:39 pm

I need some help!! More than one way. I got it!! LOL!

I can stay warm through my whole body, but my feet not so much. I have very good boots. (Muck and Cabelas 2000 grain). I wear liner socks with not supper heavy wicking socks. I usually put warmers in after my feet get chilled, but having to pull the boot with all the clothing and taking a chance of dropping it 30 ft up is just a pain.

I thought about getting Battery warming socks and turning them on when my feet get chilled.

ANY SUGGESTIONS on products. PLEASE any info.

IN THE FAITH,
Jackhammer

I hear those battery operated heated socks work great. A friend of mine had some and loved them. He bought some cheap ones first and they about burnt his feet up so he suggests getting ones that cost a few more bucks and have variable power settings. Cold feet do suck and I have dropped quite a few hand/foot warmers out of the stand.

Try the battery socks or the boot blankets you can buy. Arctic shield makes some and so does another couple companies

I use toasty toes warmers and I put them in when I first put my boots on then my feet never get chilled

The foot warmers tend to make my feet sweat too much and then they get more cold! I have the same problem. I have been wearing liners, good pair of merino wool socks, and another pair of wool socks and have been hangin in there better this year. I think it's just one of those things that some people have a problem with and there aint a ton you can do about it. It's no fun!

You need to throw on a pair of Lacrosse, they have the new 2,000 grams of thinsulate and they are warm.

One of many reasons I like the Lacross line so much. Don't own the 2,000 but may have to upgrade for next season. Forget next year, I may have to buy some for when I start my late winter yote hunting.
