| Thats one thing that I actually dont do alot in archery ishunt off the ground. Mostly I am in a treestand. Rifle season on the other hand I am usually walkin and pushin deer out! Not to often I get to stand on a drive in rifle season. That buck that I shot this year I was actually walkin down through the field to put a drive on for my daughter and a friend of mine and him and a doe were in the dip in the field!! He was peein on his tarsel glands actually when I shot him. Was 200yds to were he was standin from me. | |

| I have never hunted from a tree. about 25 yrs. ago a good friend of mine fell out of a tree stand, broke his neck, now he's paralized from the neck down. And i will not get in a tree stand. I know there safe if you use all the safety precaution's, it's just a mental thing. | |

| Ya. When I worked in a garage had a guy bring his truck in and he was paralyzed. He fell outof his stand and nicked himself with a broad head and had a pack of yotes come in on him!!! His one friend though knew somthin was up when he didnt come down after dark and chased them yotes off before they could do any damage!! He was paralyzed from the waste down then. Feel bad for those guys when a miss hap like that happens. | |

| See that s the thing, I dont like wearin them things either. I know I probally should but for some reason I feel alot safer with out it. Most of the stands that I hunt out of though are perminent stands. | |

| If i hunted from a tree, I would NOT be in it without a harness. I would prefer a full body harness. | |
