Bolt, Lever, or Pump

What is your favorite action for a gun? I think mine would probably be pump.

I will be honest if im hunting deer I like a single shot breakaction I think you take your time and make a better first shot if you know thats all you have.

Good point... most of the time after I shoot I get so excited that I forget about even chambring another shell. HAHA. Luckily, both of the deer I took with guns this year died right where I squeezed the trigger.

Pump as well for me. 870 rem. mag.

I like a pump aswell

I have alway's prefered the pump.

Have to say pump. I've allways lived in shotgun only zone so it's just what I am most comfortable using.

My two guns for deer hunting are a single shot 12 gauge and a Muzzleloader so I guess I'd have to say I'm a one shot charlie kind of guy.

I gotta say Im more of a pump kinda guy.

I'm a big bolt action fan, easily my favorite. After that, I like pumps and semi autos, especially in hard recoiling guns where the semi sucks up the recoil. I don't like to get smashed any more than I have to!
