A lot of people on here give the detail of their whitetail kills but not too many big game stories and I enjoy those as well even though I have never been on a "Big Game" hunt. Thanks...

Well, I actually filmed the entire thing... Buff hunting is fairly easy because they are a cattle animal. The thing you have to worry about is them attacking you after you shoot. They are very loyal! So we pretty much stalked this big guy after running from a few in a herd. We found him by hisself and I double lunged him with a 300 mag. He stood there for awhile then dropped, then got back up to charge a couple times... It took about 1.5 hrs to die. It made a beautiful mount, scored a low ranking in the worlds top ten! And I ended up pulling right bout 500lbs of meat. If you decide to do it one day, definitely take one with a bow! Thanx guys!

That's what i want to do,take one with my bow. What a awesome animal. I'll bet he made a great mount. Again congrat's to you,on an awesome hunt. great picts. Great story. Thank's.

Taking one with a bow would be something. An outfitter I turkey hunt with in Nebraska hunts them in North dakota and said the charge after the shot almost everytime so half the time they have to make the follow up shot with the guides gun. Out there you have hardly any cover to avoid a charge. But I would love to try it sometime.
