Newbie

Hey guys, I'm a newbie to this forum. I found out about this website from Mark. I recently met him while buying a new bow. My name is Dan and I'm from Indianapolis area. I hunt in Terre Haute and around Indianapolis. I also own some ground in SE Iowa. My main interest is habitat management. I love improving my ground and turning it into a deer paradise. I would be happy to share more about me if anyone wants otherwise I look forward to meeting and talking with many of you.

Where at in SE Iowa? Snivs and I hunted near Mt. Pleasant last fall. Great area, I wish I lived there.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Assassin, I am about 20 SW of Mt. Pleasant. It is a beautiful area and I wished I lived there too. Maybe someday. Where did you hunt when you were there?

I hunted with an outfitter out there just a little NW of Mt. Pleasant. It was hard hunting when we were there in mid Nov. Warm wet weather and all the corn was still up. Snivs shot a nice one the first day but no shots for me. Did have a stud high 150-160 @ 35-40 for awhile but no shot. We got 15 minutes of video of a 220 inch deer the day we left. A guy hunting a nieghboring farm shot it a week or two later.
