Look close guys, I took this picture off my blackberry a few days ago on the way to work. I say this is a Tom and a blackberry picture doesnt do much justice for it. On my other forum some are swearing its a bearded hen. Now I have been Turkey hunting years and have seen my fare share of bearded hens... They are illegal here to kill so we always have to be 100% certain. Whats your input from this picture.

I'd say a bearded hen just by looking at the head of the bird and the colors on the feathers.

I would love to shoot it but here in SC its against the law to shoot a bearded hen. Sooo I dont want to take that chance. Now if its starts trying to gobble well its justified then.
