Man what a great day for the Romer Boys, Took Andrew and his buddy out for the evening hunt we set up real close to where Ricky shot his turkey.

wasnt long and we had a hen come out yelling at our decoys for being to loud she didnt like it at all.she was just a yapping away.

she moved off into the wood still yapping away lol

then around 6:15 i saw 2 red heads comeing across the field so i told the boys to get ready because when i call they will come and sure enough it took one little yelp and here they come running. bot the turkey came up to the jake decoy wanting to kick some butt. I told Topher(andrews Buddy) to take the one on the left and andrew to take the one on the right when i count to 3, I get to 2 and say wait because one put his head to the ground and when he lifted it back up i said go and topher took the first shot and missed and it made andrew hurry up and try and shoot the 2nd turkey and he missed. at this point topher took another shot and missed his turkey again. at this point i thought it was all over but andrew pulled up his gun for a 2nd shot and this turkey was huffing it bach across this field and at about 35 to 40 yards andrew drops this turkey in his tracks. WOW I say what a shot.

It was a Jake (smaller than the one he got last year)but he was still pumped about it
4" Beard
both spurs were 7 MM
and weighed in at 15 pounds
