Time Line

Last season I got to thinking it would be very helpful to build a time line chart. So I did. I can't wait to tweak it this season. Maybe add a few entries, slide event dates and so forth. I actually have a few of these printed out for different areas I hunt and strategies for those particular spots peniceled in. I may not see results this early in the process but Im wiling to bet that it will pay off at some point.

Here it is. Keep in mind that depending on where you may be located dates could differ dramitically but events are going to be the same. Let me know if anyone else uses this as a tool and if you have benifited from it.

I would like to market this idea. What do yall think? Any pointers doing this would be welcomed.

Thanks. I always feel that I'm changing my hunting strategy according to what I may observe while hunting, often times a day late and a dollar short. This time line chart could help me become a proactive hunter instead of reactive and increase my odds substantially. We will see.

Please feel free to post progressions in the season that might cause a hunter to change the way he hunts, Id appreciate the input.

Thats pretty much right on there... Like you said it changes somewhat with the weather and and what part of the county you live in. I was told the rut has to do more with the amount of light in the day...
