Information for all you future stars about MiniDv tapes. Wanted to make sure you knew that the tapes we pay lots of money for are reusable. Each tape has hundreds of uses in it based on studies done. I personally don't use them more than 8 or 10 times but this does make it a little more affordable. I download them to my external hard drive and put them in a stack to save for the next year. Kind of like a back up. I never use the same tape more than once in a deer season. Just me being cautious is all. I've got a few Sony tapes that are going to be in their third year this deer season. From what the studies say, you don't loose any quality at all in tapes until more uses then I will put on them. When you are paying 3 dollars for standard def or 8 dollars for HD tapes that's important.
