I know it's only July but I just locked up my plans for the archery opener in Indiana. Will be hunting a private farm in southern indy. A lot of really nice bucks come out of that area and these farms are managed for 4 year old and older bucks. Getting the fever really early this year. In the 7 years I've been bow hunting I've never had a shot on a buck opening weekend. Hoping to change that this year.

Good Luck Robert. Not sure what my plan is yet. I have a couple of great opening day stands. Might not be a buck the blood gets drawn on first but a doe for sure.

Hey Robert, sounds like a great place to start out the season. Best of luck.

It's way to early for me to decide where/what stand. Even though season is close there's lots of time to watch and learn. I to have never layed one out opening day. Wiffed a shot at one that I eventually got is the closest I've came. Chasing bugling bulls are going to cut it close for me to make the PA opener this year.
