R-100 is July 31st-August 1st at Bass and Bucks in Wabash, IN!

If you have never been to the R100, then you need to come check it out! The course is laid out beautifully and is divided up into 2 groups of 50 targets each. There is a North American side with targets of animals that you would find in, you guessed it-North America. Then there is the African side. There are some really neat targets here. Ones you’re probably not used to shooting. Their sheer lifelike size is amazing. You need a step ladder (which is provided) to pull the arrows out of the Giraffes vitals. Most people do the 100 target shoot over two days. There are also several other competitions that go on including the “Iron buck. Don’t forget about the door prize give-aways… All Prizes are distributed by drawing on Sunday at 2:30pm. Prizes total over $6,000 at each event and ANYONE CAN WIN!

If you’re not within comfortable driving range, then camp overnight! Get your friends together and claim a primitive site for only $10 a night. Don’t worry, it is not too primitive though-- Construction of a new shower house will be finished in time for the event to make your stay more comfortable.

Bass and Bucks has a wonderful Pro Shop that is very impressive to say the least. If you need your bow worked on or want to check out the whats new in the bow world, then spend some time in the shop. There is a reason why they are the top selling shop for Mathews and Hoyt in Indiana. Josh and his staff will get you taken care of!

Make sure you plan on attending the R100 this year in Wabash, Indiana. Get your friends together and join the fun with other archers. It is a great event hosted by some wonderful friends. Make sure you plan to spend July 31st and August 1st at Bass and Bucks shooting the R100. It is a great experience and tune up for the upcoming hunting season!

I went to the shoot for the first time last year and it's a blast. The targets are so so cool and Rinehart does a great job with it's tour. Bass and Bucks is set up very well for this also. Lots of land to shoot on with a lot of different settings like a weed field and woods. Plus they have a really nice place to camp and a huge pro shop. It's easily the biggest pro shop I've seen. They have so much stuff in there.
And it's affordable to do. Last year I even saw a lot of spouses walking with shooters and just hanging out. Was a great enviroment.

That looks like a good time. There is one in Saginaw, MI area. I might hit that one up. How many arrow do you need for the course? If you miss a target do they let you look for an arrow?

I'd take a few for sure... Better to have them and not need them then to need them and not have them. You can look a few minutes for an arrow, but at a shoot like this there are usually people waiting at each target so out of a curtousy to the other shooters behing you, you probably don't want to spend a whole lot of time looking and holding all the groups up.
