This year I switched from Beeman to Easton AXIS full metal jackets and love them! All the reviews I read about them are posative as well. I was really turned on to them by how tight the straitness and out of round tollerances are compared to other arrows.

Unless you are just looking for a heavy arrow like the Pile driver, you should check out the Maxima or Maxima Hunter. Been shooting them for a few years now and you wont find a tigher, straighter arrow. I've tried a few other arrows in the off season and keep going back. The Maxima Hunter has the weight forward design and the arrow recovers off the bow faster. It's also the toughest arrow I've ever shot. I've only broke off two of them on deer. They just really hold up well and you are going to have piece of mind in the fact that all the arrows are going to weigh the same within a gram or two. On 20 yard shots it wont matter much but on 40 yard shots it can make a difference between a great shot and a leave them overnight shot.
I started shooting them four years ago and have not found a better arrow out there.

The pile driver is a good arrow for moose or elk hunting... But for whitetail I would stick with the Mayhems, Maximas (like Robert recommended) or even the Mutinys. With your draw weight, you will want to go with the 250 Spine. Any of those arrows will do the trick and take down a whitetail. Good luck and let us know if you have any more questions...

I'm shooting the Mayhems this year and those things are SWEET!!! Give them a try.
