ScentSmoker

Has anyone ever tried this product or known someone who has? I first came across it last year while watching some if the Slunger Hollow videos. I have yet to see it advertised anywhere else? They appear to be extremely reasonably priced and am considering trying one this year. Just wondered if anyone out there had any feedback.

I have heard great things about them and I've talked to people who have used it with great success. It makes sense, I would use it if I found a great deal on one.

Just spent 30 minutes trying to remember my dang password. I actually ended up buying a scent smoker and have used it a few times this year. Havent been fortunate enough to see any deer yet to know if it works or not. Will let you know.

However at $30 the price was not bad but it is still just a basic bee smoker. After the fact I found the same kind of smoker on bee keeping websites for around $15, and different types of wood chips are about $5 for a 2lb bag at your local hardware store. I'm sure with shipping its a little cheaper but I did get a free hat.

Hopefully I will have some great news to share here soon.

I have been using one for the last 2 years and have had great success with it , I smoke my clothes and equipment up before going out every time, I just have a regular bee smoker and use hickory chips that you use for your grill in it. one of the draw backs to it is you have to plan for some extra time in the mornings to get everything smoked up one of the pluses is that the warm smoke feels alot better on cold mornings than scent killer!

I have not but have a friend that did, he said it was one of those things that if a deer was down wind it did get some attention

My experience with it is if the deer are down wind they will notice the smoke smell but after a second or two they will go about their business as usual
