Thank you everyone for the prayers... Yesterday was probably the scariest day of my life. My friend and I were watching football when he got the call that both our wives were in an accident. We did not know the details so we got in my truck and drove to where we thought the crash was. When we got there and saw the vehicles and the impact, I got pretty emotional. My wife said she was fine but she was really concerned about getting the baby checked out since she is due in less than 3 weeks. Ultimately, our car took the impact really, really well. She was probably doing around 50 and she hit her brakes right before the impact but it was still enough force to put a SUV up on it's side. The lady pulled out from a stop sign right in front of her. Both airbags blew and the front of the car was smashed up pretty bad.
My wifes friend in the car with her was also pregnant. It was really scary for our friend and her husband (and us) because she could not feel the baby move for about 15 minutes after the crash and they had already lost 2 separate babies lately due to miscarriages. God definitely protected everyone as no one had a scratch on them or any type of burn from the airbags. Praise the Lord that both babies were doing fine after all of the tests that they ran at the hospital as well. Pretty amazing. Thanks again to everyone for the concern.
