Two years ago I bought an old H & R .223 heavy barrel. It was just an old single shot with a bland wood grain stock. Thought it would make a nice yote gun. Paid 140 bucks for it. A couple of weeks ago I bought a tactical stock for it at 50.00 dollars and my good friend Zach put it together for me. What a difference a new stock can make. It looks completely different now. I still need to add a bipod and scope to it and I might still cut the barrel down a little but here is the new and improved .223 at a total cost to me of 200.00 dollars. Can't wait to get it all the way done

I'll be ordering me one soon. My h and r always seemed a little short so I am thinking that this stock might help. Thanks Robert.

The adjustable butt stock does make a difference in length. No only can I extend it to fit me but if I take it down then it fits my 8 year old son

It sure does look cool. I love a beautiful piece of wood on a gun but the improvement on this one is night and day. Went from being boring to pretty freaking cool.

I'll second that Zach, you did a good job on that one.
