Got a hog with a knife!

While I was down in Florida with the wifey on vacation I went on a hog hunt. I have always wanted to take a boar with a knife, and I decided to go for it. It was quite an experience, we actually saw this one from the swamp buggy and let the hounds go. Once the hounds had it bayed we let the catch dog out, a cur, and he went in after it. Got his leg sliced up by the boars tusk before he finally latched onto his ear. Once he did I went in and stuck him. It was quite an experience, but I doubt I'll do it again. The dogs did all of the work, for me it was killing, not hunting! But still, man what an experience!

Still a cool experience. Can't wait to have a taste of that hog you got.

It was in SW Florida kind of near fort meyers. And it was definitely a rush!
