Conceal and Carry

Well tomorrow i take my test for my conceal and carry permit. Lookin forward to it.

Good luck.What kind of test is it?We just apply for one around here and wait to get it in the mail.

Darin here it's pretty extensive first you have to take an 8 hr qualification course 50 round qualification with the hand gun, then class room training. thats $75, and you must score 100%.
After that you submit proof that you have taken that course to the county sheriff for finger printing another $50, then the sheriff submits the paper work to the KS, attorney general for a complete national and state back ground check witch can take up to 90 day's $100. then the ks, AG upon completing the back ground will send a letter of dissaprovel or approvel if approved you go to the DMV. (DEPT OF MOTER VEHICLE) to have it added to your driver's liscense. Then you can carry.

Pretty much the same here Dale except it is all done at the Sherriffs Dept. in your county, they even issue your permit which is similiar to your driver license but a separate card.

yea i think OK is really similar to that also dale., i'm looking at maybe doing it soon also. they have the coursses every few weeks at out local pro shop

ours is the same way but you have to shoot 75 shots with a semi-auto and 75 with a revolver

Well looks like the course was canceled untill next sat. I can wait another week.
