Ok i have two big mature does on this property i have permissiion to hunt.. i have had no pics of any otherr deer or bucks.. Would you shoot one of these if you had a chance or would you wait for the Rut and hope they bring big daddy by.. I have these does patterned and i think i could definately shoot one in ther first week of season...

i would let them have it, if they are big mature does take them. They will fill the freezer. Other does will move into the area. then you can focus on gettin the big buck the rest of the season.

I read a article in Deer and Deer hunting, it said a mature doe had like a 65% of having a female fawn.... and a younger does only had like a 33% chance of having a female. if I remember it right... I'll try and find there article What a Face

something to think about

Unless your doe to buck is in the 2 to 1 ratio, I'd let them have it. Around here there is always another doe to take it's place
