Still waiting on season to start. still shootin and preparing for the 1st.

took my girlfriends 11 year old brother out huntin today for youth season, it was his first bowhunt, the little guy did great and made a perfect 20 yard shot on a doe, Smoked her in the heart. It is one of my best hunting experiences and i will never forget it. i was more excited when he made that shot than i get when i shoot them myself. Now i just have to wait 6 more days until i can start huntin. i will try to get pics up tomorrow.

smoked a big doe this morning. rage 3 blade did one hell of a job. 60 yard quartering away shot. went through a rib the through the opposite shoulder, arrow stuck in the dirt. blades all intact just need a little touch up sharpening. she went down in 30 yard heart and lungs were smoked. saw 12 deer this morning total 4 bucks, had a 140 inch 8pt a 40 yards couldnt get him stopped

thank you, im headin to a new property i just picked up the other day this afternoon. i have been tryin to get permission to hunt it for 4 years now, and finally got it.

went out this morning and saw that big 8 again, and a few other dencent bucks and 7 does. went to the new property tonight and only saw 4 does

Saturday mornings hunt ruined by 3 stray dogs, had the 140 class deer and the 3 other bucks that i have been seeing lately coming in, then here comes 3 stray dogs to run them off. I really need a to get a rifle soon.

Hung a stand tonight, it looks like it will be a great set. Im hoping to hunt it next week but might hunt it this weeked.

at work cant sit still be in the woods in 25 minutes.

got out at about 520 last night, as i was pulling my bow up a button buck shows up, sticks around for a while. then i see a small buck cross the field next to me, so hit a grunt a few times he come straight at me. Then here comes another small buck. They proceed to fighting. then they wander around in front of me for about 40 minutes to an hour. other than that it was a slow night.

saw 15 last night 5 were bucks, got to watch 2 bucks fight again for the 2nd night in a row, headin back out here soon. Good luck to all those hunting.

Cold and pouring down rain tonight, saw 12 deer tonight

saw lots of deer last weekend, i took friday off to hunt all day, i saw a real good one out of my new stand, he will easily go 150s i sat and watched him destroy a tree, there was a 110 or so inch deer with him as well. Deer ran like crazy last night lots of movement. headin back out there tonight.

Well guys i missed him last night at 40 yards. I hit a twig that i didnt see and my arrow went right in front of him. Clean miss and i found my arrow and it was still in 1 piece so it was not a total loss. he didnt know what happened he didnt know he got shot at or where it came from. so hopefully he will come back in tonight.

took my friends hunting yesterday, and put them in spots to sit. told them where the deer would come from, he shot a 138 inch 10 pointer at 815, it dressed 230.
