The illuminated #4 reticle configured 2-10x50 ZE 5i Riflescope from Minox combines a 30mm optical path with an argon-filled housing to create a close to mid-range zoom optic that is built for reliable low light and weatherproof performance. At the core of this scope's optical system are high-transmission SCHOTT glass elements. Each lens is multicoated with Minox's proprietary M* anti-reflective coating, resulting in contrast-rich and color faithful images throughout the zoom range.
This ZE series scope features a second plane German #4 reticle that has an illuminated red dot centered on a fine crosshair with heavy posts at three, six, nine o'clock. The reticle illuminator offers 11 brightness settings and is controlled using a dedicated click-stop side turret. To preserve battery life, the illuminator has an auto-off function as well as a deactivation position between each brightness setting. In case the need arises, a spare battery compartment built into the turret always keeps an extra battery within the shooter's reach.
Complementing the ZE series' functionality, windage / elevation adjustment turrets provide tactile and audible feedback that confirms impact point correction without requiring the shooter to take their eye off the field of view.
The final elements of the ZE 5i optical path lie in the variable power eyepiece, which enables quick magnification adjustments in addition to rendering edge-to-edge sharpness and a comfortable 3.9" eye relief. Further equipping this riflescope for years of reliable service, the ZE 5i is machined from a single block of aerospace aluminum and engineered for shock-resistant performance. Each ZE 5i 2-10x50 riflescope is made in Germany and eligible for Minox's 30-Year Total Coverage Warranty.
