I called my closest orscheln's and they only had the trace mineral in blocks and no di-calcium phosphate. I don't think the kid knew where to look though. I will go in and check myself.

Hey Raliegh go to Key Feeds in Clay Center and they make their own deer mineral. Its like no more then 10 bucks for a 50 pound bag. The deer love it, I actually have a couple bags at my house u could try out.

is it too late to put out mineral sites i know my trophy rocks in the past never got touched late in the year... ??? thanks guys i just put out mineral salt out on a stump that had a tr on it two years ago and they were still using it so i just added some salt to refresh it up a bit..

I think deer will use minerals most the year......

but mostly during does carrying fawns or nursing fawns and bucks forming antlers

I agree with Mark. Deer need minerals all year round. However, there are times (spring and early summer) where they require more of them because of the antler growth and fawning, and therfore, you will see a lot more activity during those months then you will later in the year...
