| So I got a set up that I feel is going to be great for season once the corn gets a hair cut. Only fear I have is lack of cover. So what is everyone's tricks to get extra cover. I plan on cutting some limbs from the larger limbs I cut for shooting lanes and arranging them on my stand to break up my silhouette. What else do you guys do to give yourself an advantage over those ever so intelligent whitetails?? | |

| That should be more than enough. If you go in scent free and hunt the wind you should be fine with minimal cover | |

| Hunt them high. The higher the better. That works great for lack of cover as well as scent control... | |

| Joe Go by www.carnivorehp.com and check out the branch clamp. I was in the same situation as you. I needed a bit more cover to my setup. I purchased one of these and it is pretty slick! If you have welding skills and a welder you probably could make your own fairly easy. Good luck! Travis | |

I usually like to get about 30-35 feet up in my climber. Same things you mentoned and it helps you see so much farther too. | |

| If your hunting a corn field they will be focused on the food and other deer. If you brush yourself in with limbs that should be good enough. | |

| Sounds like some good ideas. I also will have the same problem in one of my stand locations. | |

| Its alittle late for this but might help for next year. After Christmas go around the neighbor hood and look for ppl throwing away fake Christmas Trees. and ask them if you can have them, the branches make great cover and last for ever you can even adjust them to look pretty | |
