FOB

My hubby could not wait to try the new FOB's on his arrows. Well, he got them last week and they are awful. He is an awesome shooter and these things flew everywhere. They completely missed our target 3 times and he lost all 3 arrows. Mind you, he has been shooting a bow since he was a teen and he is 37. He is really a great shooter. Anyway, he came in, threw them in a corner, and got out his other arrows. He went back out and nailed the bulls eye everytime. Geeez.....he was disgusted! lol

hmmm...make sure he has everything set up properly. I have been shooting them for years and I have zero problems with them. I'm sure someone like your hubby who has been shooting that long is squared away with his equipment and setup, but just double check that he isn't getting contact somewhere to cause the arrow to deflect and go astray. The fletching is more forgiving with contact vs the hard plastic of the FOB.

First I heard of this from the FOBs

He said he checked everything and found no contact. Who knows.... I did talk to a good friend at the archery range (the owner) and he isn't crazy about them because of being inaccurate, also. He tried them and went back to his regulars. lol I wanted to try them but beginning to wonder if I want to even go thru that.

To each his own, I guess...lol...I just know my hubby was ticked and he shoots about 3 times a week. lol
