| Well I figure Ill get this one started and see what everyone is using for a turkey load this up coming season? Personally I think I am going to try out the new Winchester Xtended Range Hi-Density. Apparently it is supposed to have some major knock down power at 40 yds. | |

| That's the one I have used the last two years and 40 yards is only the beginning. If you have the right gun and choke tube that shell has 50 and 55 yard killer power | |

| i have been using the hevi-shot at least 3 seasons.. i started out with #5 shot as the season opens and move inti #4 as the leaves start to set on.the 4"s will blow the leaves off and have enough shot left to take the bird down.. i think i will start this season with remingtons duplex load(#4 and #6 shot,a blast of both shot size at the same time will do the job on ole tom this season. | |

| You can get that from a mossberg or remington and a Jellyhead tube. I've heard guys shooting the 3.5 with the 870 and jelly head out to 60 yards and killing birds | |

I heard Robert was shooting those Turkeys with his bow out at 60 yards at Richards. Cut that in half and you got it right. I can't even see 60 yards with my old eyes | |

| Got hooked up with some Winchester Xtended Range Hi-Density shells #5 shot size from my buddy. If thats what he shoots, then I will shoot them as well. Can't wait to try them out. First on a target and then on a big old toms head. | |
