Stone point Arrow is DONE

Awlful proud of my handy work (might just have some injun in me) Never done this but I am thinking it turned out great.
Total Weight 550 grs, Feathers are 4 inch shields chopped out of one of my Tennessee brids taken this past spring.

Did you make the arrow and head?

I didn't make the head but I did make the arrow, had to notch out the end and etc. It is a port orford cedar shaft spined in at 50-55lbs

The Dermist and I had the great idea ti try our hands at making arrows from scratch last winter. We took several planks of different types of wood and cut them down and hand plained them to 3/8 inch diameters then cut down some wing feathers from a Va turkey I had killed that year. The ones we got made flew true, but man was that a pain in the you know what. I think the first 4 arrows I made I broke ( weak spots ). We have a few and would love to put one thru something. I'll post pics of them later.

Have you tried it out yet? When you do keep us informed how it performed. That thing is Sweet. Love to have one.
