Subject: Northern Pennsylvania Activity... Tue Oct 20, 2009 6:18 pm
After a usual and typical slow start to the first few weeks of the Pennsylvania season, things seem to be slightly picking up. The mid-October snow storm that dumped 8 inches of snow in the mountains put a few of the older bucks on their feet. Hopefully this cooler, wet weather and increase in activity continues into the ever anticipated month of November...

That is a picture that really makes my heart pump! I love the fresh snow! I think seeing pics like that make me think of when I was a little kid and we had a snow day from school. The radio would say our school was closed, I would get all bundled up, and I'd take off into the woods with my old recurve or pellet gun and try to unravel a set of rabbit tracks, or follow a fresh set of deer tracks through the orchards as the sun came up-man those memories will be with me forever!
