Looks like you need a mule to haul it out to the woods. I'd like to do the oldschool smokepole sometime, my cousin took me out with one 16 years ago. It was fun to shoot but never got to shoot at a deer with it.

The very first deer i ever shot was taken with this gun. when i take it to the range,and it's an indoor range, believe me it turns heads when it goes off. And believe it or not it's really not that heavy. (Exept the kick.)

It shoots great, very accurate. I like using a 480 gn. Buffalo bullet. and round ball. The round ball is what i shot my first doe with,about 15 yrs. ago, at 50yrds. open sight. Here in kansas, it's illegal to have a scoped ML
during that seas. But can use it during riffle seas.

That thing is a classic. Great looking gun!
