Red Dot Sights

was wondering if anyone uses one on there shot guns or any other gun?

I know nothing about them and was wondering if one would be good to use during the turkey season.

If so any good or bad things to look out for when getting one?

I've used them on an AR15 before and loved it. I thought it would work great for turkey hunting. I'll eventually get one for my turkey gun.

My buddy Kurt just put one on a shotgun for turkey hunting. I looked at it looks like it would work great.

I have never used one but have had family who has. I have heard of people really liking them but some who actually hate them.

I've had a couple of them come on guns but I never got use to them. Might still have one around here if you are looking for one to try. If so let me know and I look. If I find it you can have it

I have seen them before and i didnt like the way the dot moved around.
do they all do that or can you get one that the dot is still for fast aiming?

The ones I have seen the dots move around as your head moves, but if the dots on target it should be on. I was told thats the reason the military likes them, you can pick up your target quickly and dont have to have perfect form. I could be wrong, but that's what I was told.

I tried shooting one on a AR but with being partally color blind I could not see the dot so my input will not help much.
