Finally

I finally got back my 2005 buck from FRED LUCAS. When I first killed this buck I called Fred and he said he didn't take new customers. Well after 15 minutes of talking with him and letting him know money and time weren't important he agreed to mount him for me. He told me not to bug him and he would be done in 2-3 years. Well 4 years and 3 months later he is done. All I can say is he was definitely worth the wait. UNBELEIVABLE!

I have heard FRED LUCAS described as a muesem mounter. His deer is definitely Muesem quality. He said this deer was either the 2nd or 3rd biggest bodied deer he had ever mounted.

I had hunted this deer for 3 years before taking him. I have 3 years worth of pictures of him and 5 of his sheds. One of these days I will have his sheds mounted just like him only turned the opposite way. With a quality mouint like this its no wonder FRED LUCAS has mounted aniimals for some huge names in the hunting world, like Gene and Barry Wensel just to name a few. THANKS FRED

They are all studs, but the one in the middle is REAL NICE. Congrats on all of them.

The one on the far left is the one you are going to make the necklace of. He goes 195 with a bow. The wide one in the middle means more than all the other deer on the wall. For 3 years every time I climbed into the stand I dreamed of killing him.

Very nice collection!My buddy had a deer mounted by Lucas also and it took him 4 or 5 years to get his back.But heck,he's probably tops in taxidermy in the country!
