| Just wondering if you do your own bow work or if you take your bow to a local pro shop? | |

| I do my own. I just don't trust anybody else tunning my bow. | |

| I have done all of my own. Bought my very first bow in January of this year, set everything up on it... have installed everything on it.
Figured I could either spend a couple hundred bucks at the shop, getting them to put it together, setting it up and tuning it and learn nothing about the bow.... or I could buy the tools myself and not have to rely on some guy at the shop to fix it for me.
Has worked out well I guess as I am the newest guy in my little group of bowhunting friends... but they all call me when they need a peep tied in, some serving done... you know, basic stuff that every archer should know how to do. | |

| I do all my own work mainly because my local shop is full of A-holes that belittle everybody that walks in (unless you got your bow from them) and they are way over priced aswell. | |

| I do all of my tuning myself along with the tuning for my wife and hunting partner also. The only time my bow goes to an shop is when the strings need to be changed as I do not have an press yet.
