Great

Well just got home from Illinois hunting with Andy and the guys at Corn Crib, All I can say is WOW! Had a blast all week,day 1 Don (camoedassasin was filming for me) and myself had a great 150"er come in to the horns but he stayed out about 55yds,then we saw some does come busting down the middle of this corn field cause a buck was running them,they came within 20yds,All I can see is the right side of the rack and it looked a little week to me, all I could hear Don say was "I got him I got him",but being in Illinois on the "FIRST" day I couldn't let the string go,then he moves around behind us were "I DON'T HAVE A SHOT" and I see his left side,he has junk EVERYWHERE!!! would probally go mid 130's,so I'm kicking myself now. Well I didn't get to fill my tag "YET" but Don and myself seen deer ALL day everyday for 5 day's and seen a 130"er everyday (Of course not in range) on the last evening we saw one that score in the 160's,I know Mark and his camera guy saw some good one's as well,we didn't get any deer on the ground but we have got some GREAT footage from the week. I was able to drop a coyote in it's tracks though. Let me just say my hunt is BOOKED for next year. Had a blast in camp with Camoedassasin,Mark,& mikealj (all from WA) and a couple (Kerri & Jim) from Wisconsin,Jim shot one in the 160's but they couldn't find him. Folks just let me tell you all Corn Crib Outfitters has some GREAT ground to hunt on and all the guides know the land VERY well,if you get a chance you need to book a hunt with them,You will not be able to hunt West Central Illinois at a better price,just let Andy know you are with WA and he will give you a GREAT deal. Will have the footage that Don and myself got up as soon as we get the editing done.

Sounds like you guy's all had a great time at some great hunting property. Good story steve

Those guys run a great camp. It was a blast to be behind the camera for Mark. Anyone looking for a hunt should check them out. They act more like your friends than you outfitter which was great.

in 4 days of hunting I saw 8 shooter bucks (130BC+) had a 160+ 12 pointer within 60 yards, he and 5 does came in down wind, never really winded us but the does didnt like something and they wondered back into the cut corn....and of course he went with them.

saw a couple more 140+ but never had a opportunity to draw on a buck.

and Yes the guys at Corncrib run a great camp...... Andy,Joe,John and Shane will all go out of their way for you.

and it's hard to beat their rut prices...............

I will deffinitely be there and hopefully the rest of the Abnaki crew can make it to. That was one of the best hunts that I have been on and I never had a bow in my hand. Lots of good bucks in that area. I know that area pretty good, I've hunted in that county 4 of the last 5 years.

By the looks of the property, it looks awesome.

Im really hopin the cash will be there next seas. That just may be my first out of state hunt.
