First 8 pointer

Subject: First 8 pointer Sun Nov 06, 2011 7:11 pm

Hey all after 4 years of hunting and countless hours in the woods, I finally got a nice buck. I have gotten a bunch of does and smaller bucks in the past. But there was no feeling like when he came in to 9 yards chasing after a doe. I hit him square in the heart with my 3 blade rage head and he only went maybe 15 yards then piled up. Obviously I did something wrong cause you can't see the pics on the screen, you have to click on the link. If someone knows what link I'm supposed to copy to have the pics always on the screen I would really appreciate it thanks

What time of day did you shoot him.. I ask because i shot a button at 1:30 last week.. Seems like all the youth hunters were seeing deer in the middle of the day too..

He came in around 5:30. Shot him as the sun started dropping
