I'll be carrying one of those new Muddy camera arms around this fall and figured I better top it off with a nice fluid head. Decided to go with the Manfrotto 701 HDV Pro Fluid head. Ordered one today. it's not as big as some of the Pro heads and only weighs about 2.4 pounds so I'm loosing a pound of weight in the deal too Very Happy

Can't wait to get it all set up and see how she runs. Gotta have a quality setup for all those big deer I plan on seeing this fall

I'm looking for a similar head for my Lone Wolf arm but LW uses a 1/4" diameter/thread and the heads I have been finding at use a 3/8".

Anyone know of a head that uses 1/4" ?

you ordered one for me right Robert? LOL fluid heads are the way to go they make the shot so steady while following the deer no jumping just smooth movement
