Im sure everyone has noticed that i have not been on the site very much over the last 4 or 5 months.
4 months or so ago i came down with a cough that i could not get rid of, I have been going to the doctor and they have been running all kinds of test and trying all kinds of meds to get rid of it and nothing has worked. they did ct scans and found stuff in my lungs that looked be namonia(sp) but none of the meds would take it out. so they decided to go in and do a swab and a biopsy to figure out exactly what it was,
Well as of yesterday i was Diagnosed with a type of lung cancer, I am a smoker but this type of cancer is more common in ppl that dont smoke
but any ways this type can be surgictly removed witch is a good thing. I went today and had a petscan done and that will show exactly where the cancer is and what the next step will be. so untill next weds ill i wont know what that step will be.
From what they have found it looks to only be in my right lung and if that is so they will give me a couple chemo treatments to try and trap it in one small area and then go in and take out that area of my lung or the whole lung if necessary.
Just keeping my fingers crossed that it is only in my right lung and not spread and that is what the the test from today will tell us.
I just wanted to let everyone know what was going on with me and i appolagize for not being much.
