PSE Blackhawk recurve

Well most of you may have gathered I bought Robert's old recurve. This recurve is in excellent shape and exactly what I was looking for. A recurve I can take down too. Well I got a new string and arrow rest. I will be shooting a 350 carbon arrow and need to add some weight to the inserts for better flight and better penetration. I still need to go back for some tuning with the arrows I will be using. I am pretty excited to get used to this old school rig and plan on taking down something with it this fall. I am good at 10 & 15 yards but 20 gets a little inconsistent. Definitely will need some practice and getting used to. What a cool experience!! I used to love shooting old school...might just have to get back into it. Especially when you come down this fall...I can't let you "one up me" now can I. LOL

That's a good bow and as a PSE it fits right into the site. Watch out for Glenn if you take it to Missouri. Old school is his thing.

I have always wanted to shoot old school just never made the jump Maybe in the near future i will have to do it. It just adds a whole new challenge to something i love
