Just got back from the pond my family owns. Was a little slow at first. Only caught 1 large mouth. I then saw some splashing down on the other end of the pond. I walk down and there had to be at least a hundred catfish in the shallow water. They had all the rocks nice and clean and getting ready to spawn. In that group got to see the monster albino cat thats in the pond. I didn't wanna bother them too much so I went back to the other end to try my luck at the bass again. Was like a different day. They were biting pretty good. First caught a 1 pound blue gill. My biggest. Then the bass started. Had to swap out 2 soft plastic worms becuase the ripped the tail end off both. Was a blast! The last cast of the day brought me a nice chunker of a bass. Gotta love fishing ponds.
