2009 WA Spring Turkey Contest

Here it is folks, the 2009 Whitetail Affliction Spring Turkey Contest.

The rules are simple. First the competition is going to be on an individual basis. Each person can enter one bird only. You can upgrade your bird if your state allows multiple birds or if you hunt out of your home state. However, a bird must be harvested by legal means according to your state.

The scoring system to determine a "winner" will be based from the National Wild Turkey Federation scoring system. Very easy to use, you must measure the birds beard, left spur, right spur, and the birds weight. Then go to http://www.nwtf.org/all_about_turkeys/turkey_score.html and enter the information. Once enter it will give you a score. Simple as that ladies and gentlemen. I will create an entry thread here shortly and then let the fun begin!

The Management Team will post what the prize will be for the winner soon.

I shot a big gobbler that wieghed 47 lbs. had 5 beards and 3 in. spurs........ Oh! wait a minute, that was the dream I had last night, no wonder I woke up sweating and shaking, never mind.

Sense it is a individual contest I think everyone is in as long as they follow the rules on the scoreing.
