| Just wondering if anyone has an extra connecting strap (the big strap that secures the stand to the tree) laying around that they would offer me at a fair price. One of my stands is missing the strap.

The big ratcheting strap that clips on one side of the stand, wraps around the tree and then hooks into the other side of the stand. | |

| I have several I've got at Home Depot for 10 bucks for three and they are 500 pound straps I believe. I always put two staps on my stands anyways so I buy a good bit of them. YOu can get them up to about 200 pound. | |

| Yes, I usually just get extra ones at the hardware store. Since I am over 200 lbs, I always throw an extra ratchet strap on my stands.. just for safety, not that im that fat.. haha | |

| Good call with getting extra ones, you can never be to safe. If I could put a winch cable on my stands I would. The heavy duty straps add a lot more stability, in my opinion. The sturdier the stand the sturdier the shot. | |

| I agree with you guys I usually put one at the top and one at the bottom of my stands just makes it sturdy and less moving means less noise also | |
