Hanging stands

Just got back from hanging 3 more sets with Camoed Assassin. Checked trail cams and drove up on a decent buck and was able to snap a couple of pics of him. All in a good days worth of work. Camoed Assassin will post pics later.

Dont let the pics fool ya. A couple of those sets might be pushing 30'. Youre stand ( the gar hole, as cuz strictland would call it ) probablly only 15'

Put up some stands of my own this weekend. Moved a 20" ladder and put up a hang-on one of my food plots. Very excited for season!

wow! you guys are real pros compared to me and my little ladder stands and tripod. where do yall hunt? im down here in arkansas hunting in a bunch of pines. love the pics. wish to hunt in some sets like those one day.

We hunt in central Maryland. We dont have to many stands of pines around. The pines that grow in the hardwoods around us are pretty sgraggly. Near my parents house we did have a 20 acre stand of planted pines that were probablly 20 some years old that the deer just loved to frequent.

Almost ready. We will be out to hang that last ones this weekend. Then we really should be ready.

Stands are stands to me ..... but cool deer pix! I want to stake out our turkey fields and catch some pictures of them, but I'd love to catch a deer also. Only one I have like that is when we were turkey hunting from a blind, a couple of small deer came through the trail. Very cool!
