Went out and put the final touch on all my set on Fridiay. It was an all day job but I enjoyed it. Cut a lot of paths and hung bow hoks and pull up ropes. The most exciting part of the day was around 10 am. I was up in a stand adding an extra rachet strap and decided to test its durbaility. I got up on the platform (harness on of course) to see if it would move any. Didn't budge. I sat down and no joke 20 seconds later I see movement to my right. A fawn was making its way up the trail in my direction. It walked within 10 yardas at one point and had no clue I was there. As it walked away I decided to stay put. I have hundred of pictures of that fawn and she is always followed shortly after by her mother (we call them Elanor and Louis). About 5 mintues later here came mom. The mom came pass me on my left so I did not get any trail cam pic of her. I stayed up in the stand for a while just enjoying the sights and sounds. The rest of the day deer were spotted but none that close. Got my blind set up and brushed in and all the sets are ready for the season. Now just gotta wait....
